This project connects 100th Street near the Hotel Macdonald to the river valley trail system near the Low Level Bridge. A unique feature of this project is its funicular, which helps create an innovative and barrier-free access between Edmonton's downtown and amazing river valley. City staff gave Ryfan glowing praise for this project.
CHARS is a new research facility in Canada's high arctic. It attracts Canadian and international scientists to work on science and technology issues in Canada's North. It provides advanced laboratories, and opportunities for technology and traditional knowledge development. Ryfan worked with Indigenous and Ontario based partners on this project.
Air travel is a key economic driver in most areas. Growing passenger volumes, aircraft movements and security requirements motivated this 11,000 sq. ft airport expansion. One of numerous airport projects we've undertaken, this project included lighting controls, security, building access, standby generator, and a baggage conveyor system.
We have successfully delivered hundreds of MEP mining projects though out the North. Whether it's original construction or sustaining capital we have experience in the process plant and with site utilities; with mine drys and accommodation complexes; both on surface and underground: we get the job done safely and meet mine production needs.
Ryfan has applied its growing Health Care expertise on health care centres throughout the Northwest Territories as well as on a number of projects for Alberta Health. Our work includes Design-build and renovation in operating facilities. We work with the project stakeholders to meet the unique building systems and hygiene requirements.
Alternative energy isn't particularly "alternative" anymore. We've worked on alternative energy studies and installations throughout the north.
